Stitch Fix Report #7

Here I go with my latest Stitch Fix Report #7!

 

I was so looking forward to receiving my package, and so was my puppy!

 

As I requested they picked 4 different shades of Green family ( not gray lol.)

 

What I received --> 2 dresses, 2 tops and 1 jacket

 

What I liked --> Unexpectedly I really liked bluish dark green 3/4 sleeve pleat waist dress. Before I tried on I didn't think the color would go with me but it actually complemented my skin tone. Also I can use some accessory to place a different focal point to make harmony!

 

Another piece that I liked was beige crew neck blouse. This neutral color top can blend with all the other existing wardrobe so it's a keeper!

 

What I disliked. --> Surprisingly I don't have any particular ones that I dislike, but just to consider if I will really wear I needed to return other items that I didn't mention above.

 

My keepers --> Elaine 3/4 sleeve pleat waist dress and Pip Crew Neck Blouse.

 

Thanks to Lisa for telling me tips on how specific I need to be for getting what I can really like on Fix. Specifying the color really helped this time. ( I think!)  Though I am not keeping all of them, but  certainly specifying the color helped the stylist to get good collection of Fix this time.

 

The order is not quite right, but I did check if all those items are actually my own personal color by comparing with my own color tips. I think they are fairy close!

 

I have not sent in my next request yet, but I am thinking to ask for " Warm Pink or Light Coral" for my next Fix.

 

Let's see how they will surprise me. I will surely let you know on my blog as soon as I get the next Fix.

さてさて、鬼と出るか蛇と出るかの Stitch Fix #7です。

 

今回のＦｉｘに入っていた物

 

☆　トップス　２

☆　ワンピース　２

☆　ジャケット　１

 

 

お気に入り

☆　七分袖のワンピース

☆　ベージュのブラウス

 

 

 

 

意外だったのがこの七分袖のワンピース。色が緑と言うよりは群青色（ぐんじょういろ）で青みがかっているので上の画像でパーソナルカラーのパレットにあるかチェックしてみましたが、ぴったりの色では無かったので、お返し組になるかなと思い試着してみたら、形が良いのか？顔周りに少しパーソナルカラーを取り入れる事で何とか使えそうな事が判明しました。

 

ベージュのブラウスは地模様がシェブロンなので、苦手要素はありますが、色的にはパレットにぴったりなのと、あまり主張しないアイテムなので既存のワードローブとも合わせる事が出来そうなのでお買い上げとなりました。

 

お返しアイテム

 

☆　グリーンのジャケット。

 

色はドンピシャ！なのですが、このカチッとした襟のデザインは私には合わないので

お返ししました。

 

 

次のシルクブラウス。

 

これは色的にはかなり頑張って下さいました（すみません、また上から目線。）が、

シルクの高級感は気に入ったものの、サイズが少し大きめなのでお返し組に。

 

そして最後のノースリーブワンピース。

カラーブロッキングが施されているワンピースで、このアラフィフのナイスバディを素敵に見せてくれる配慮が感じられる（苦笑）アイテム。

 

でも試着してみると腕周りがクローズアップされてる様な気持ちになる位、開きが大きくて。

 

なので、カラーパレット的には上の画像の通り、良い感じだったのですが、お返し組に入れました。

 

 

今回は前回程の残念感もあまりなくホッとしてます。

 

「もうそろそろ、辞めたら？」とお友達に言われたりもしてますが、私としては

ブログ、ＨＰなどのリンクをスタイリストさんに見てもらって逆に私に合う色を見出してもらえると言う醍醐味があるので、まだまだ続けてみようと思っています。

 

自分の好みのスタイル、デザイン、色などに固執せずに新しい物を取り入れるきっかけを作るには月に一度のお楽しみ袋的なStitch Fixはまだ当分楽しめそうです。

Stitch Fix Report #6

Hi, so here is my Fix #6 report.

On this Fix, I really learned the difficulty to letting them know of my specific preference.

My friend that introduced me Fix told me tips on how to get what I would really like, but I am afraid that I totally failed ( or defeated...) this time despite of her wonderful advice! Waaaah~.

To make my long story short, I only kept infinity scarf just to get back my styling fee ($20).

I wrote to them that I would like to try on the color of the year 2015 that is marsala.
They did choose items with the colors I specified, but I thought they could do better..

I really liked the style of the Sheath Dress except I purchased DVF:s similar dress prior to this Fix arrival. Both dresses have similar design but DVF one won on the stylish design that compliment my shape. (hehe.)


So, for this Fix, I was very unhappy unfortunately.

I came to the point whether I continue or not, but I gave it another chance.

This time I choose the color that I don't usually wear.....that is "Dark Moss Green".

Let's see what happened on next Fix.

さて、私にしては信じられない程のマッハ的なスピードでStitch FixレポをＵＰしておりますが、、

 

今回のレポはと～っても悲しいレポになります。

 

と言うのも届いた５アイテムの内、キープしたのはスカーフのみ。

 

それも一つでも購入しておけば＄２０のスタイルフィーを無駄にしたくなかったので、やむを得ずと言った理由でです。

 

このプログラムを紹介して下さったお友達からのアドバイスで実は今回のＦｉｘでは、

色をはっきり指定してのＦｉｘだったのですが・・・かなり残念な結果でした。

 

と言うか、色的には結構頑張ってくれた（すみません、上から目線で。）のですが、

どれもイマイチ。

 

特にワンピースに関しては、実はつい最近ＤＶＦの似た様なデザインのワンピースを買ったばかりで、それに比べるとＦｉｘのワンピースは素材と色が私にはあまり似合いませんでした。

 

矢模様のトップもあまり好きなデザインでは無くてお返し決定。

 

なので、またまたお友達にアドバイスをしてもらって、次回はもっと分かり易く（！！）色の指定をしてみました。

 

「深みの緑。」でリクエストしてみました。

 

さて、Fix #7　では鬼が出るか蛇が出るか・・・・。

Stitch Fix Report #5

 

Here is my Stitch Fix Report #5!

What I received --> 5 items ( 2 sweaters, 1 cardigan, 1 dress and 1 pair jean)

What I liked --> I LOVE sawyer space dye dolman sleeve knit top. It is very comfortable and dye pattern flatter my shape! (lol)

I also really like another pair of skinny jean! Not only it is very comfortable but also with zip on both side make this pair really good looking with my black pumps.

What I disliked --> Red Cable knit cotton sweater!! ughhhh!  It will probably look good on somebody else but not for me.  AND the orange dress. It looks and the fabric feels like this is the dress from one of those "teen" favorite clothing store, yet the price of this dress is outrageously expensive!

 

My #5 Keepers --> Ankle zip skinny jean, Space Dye Dolman Sleeve Knit top and Cable Knit Open Cardigan.

I learned to give my stylist very specific instructions/ preference on color or style for next Fix.

The good thing about the Fix is I get to keep what I really like and not necessary to keep all of them!
( If I keep all of them then I get to have 25% discount of the total.) Even if I keep some of them, they will still deduct my style fee of $20.)

Stitch Fix Report #5です。

 

今回届いた物　（最初の画像をご参照。）

 

セーター２枚

カーディガン１枚

ワンピース　１枚

スキニージーンズ　１本

 

お気に入り；

 

意外だったのが、濃い目の紫のドルマンスリープセータートップ。

リーフレットで見た時は「絶対にお返し組！」と思っていたのですが、着てみたら意外にも

着心地も良いし、このスペースダイ模様がアラフィフのツボでした。（苦笑）

 

そして、両サイドにジッパーが付いてるスキニージーンズ。これは前回のパープルアンクルスキニーと同じブランドの物ですが、これもなかなか私のツボでした。黒の低めのパンプスに合わせたらキャリア系のトップと合わせても良さそうなカジュアルキャリアに使えます！

 

お返しアイテム；

 

赤のケーブルニット。どうしてもフツーオーラ全開の様な気がして。そして、この赤も他の方ならお似合いになると思いますが、私には向いていない赤でした。

 

オレンジコーラルのワンピース。生地がとてもテラテラで高級感に欠けてる所がどうしても好きになれず。あと３０歳（苦笑）くらい若ければ、きっと着てみても可愛らしく装えるかと。なのに、お値段は今回届いた中でダントツ一位だった事もお返し決定になった理由でした。

 

５回目ともなって、パッケージが届く日が楽しみなのは変わらないのですが、毎回スタイリストさんに的を得た直球のリクエストを出さなくてはと思う様になってきました。でも、それってちょっぴり難しかったりします。

Stitch Fix report #4

So it has been a while since I have reported my Stitch Fix #3, and so far I got up to #7 the latest.

What I received on Fix #4 --> 5 items -- 3 tops ( sweaters ) , 1 pair of pants and a scarf.

What I liked--> I like ankle length purple skinny jean. This is my first pants that I got through Stitch Fix and I am very happy!

What I disliked--> I didn't see anything special about the sweaters. Especially two of knit sweaters. They are just nothing but usual and basic design.The Glorietta Cowl Neck Sweater has a very flattering neckline but I just wished it was in different color. ( This color by the way is my neutrals..)

My keeper on fix #4 --> Ankle length skinny jean and diamond knit infinity scarf.

すっかり　Stitch Fix リポートが滞っておりましたっ。

今の所＃７までＦｉｘが届いているのですが・・・・さかのぼって＃４のレポです。

上の画像をご参照くださいませ～。

届いたアイテム；　全部で５アイテム（セーター３枚、パンツ１、スカーフ１）

どのセータもイマイチなデザインで特にコレ！と言った特別感もなかったので今回はセーターは全部お返ししました。

カールネックの私のニュートラルカラーのセーターも良いかな？と思ったのですが、着てみるとちょっぴり野暮ったく見えてしまったのでお返し組に。

今回のキープアイテム;

アンクル丈のスキニージーンズ。ボトムでパンツは今回で初めてなのですが、色も今まで進んで購入したものでは無くて逆に新鮮なお色でした。程よいストレッチ素材で
アラフィフ女子にも優しいアイテムでした。（笑）

そして、ニット・インフィニティースカーフ（マフラー？）もキープしました。
Ｆｉｘのファッションリーフレットに載っている程、長いスカーフではありませんが、ニットで私のニュートラルカラーなのでお顔映りも良いのでキープしました。
