PYB ・２０周年アニバーサリー バレエ「くるみ割り人形」公演

サンクスギビングを目前として、皆さんお忙しくされてますか？

前回のエントリーでも触れましたが、今日はその「アレ」についてのお話しです。

私事のお話しで大変恐縮ですが・・・・

我が家の娘はここ５年程、毎年この時期は「くるみ割り人形」の舞台に向けて全（笑）エネルギーを注いでおりまして・・・・サンクスギビングの日はかろうじてプライベートな時間を家族で楽しむのですが、サンクスギビングの前の日も次の日もステージリハーサルとドレスリハーサルがあるので、送り迎えだけでも緊張しながら過ごす日々となっております。


PYBとはPeninsula Youth Balletの略で、アートディレクターである高橋あや子先生のご指導の下、ローカルの児童ダンサー達に本格的なバレエの舞台を経験する機会を提供して下さるNPOです。

毎年オーディションで選ばれた子供ダンサー達（最年少は８歳）が、プロのダンサーの皆さんと一緒に舞台に出演します。





今年も、待ちに待ったシーズンが開幕です。

今年は２０周年と言う事で、全キャストのショーへの思い入れは特別の様です。


全５公演（１１月２９日、３０日、１２月６日　１４時、１９時、７日）、
どの公演もきっと素晴らしいショーになると思います。

一般公演の他にも地域のスクール向けのスクールショーも２回行われます。

この時期、週末もリハーサルの為にスタジオに籠り切りなダンサーの皆さん。
舞台の成功に向けてキャスト全員一丸となって取り組む姿勢に年齢は関係なく
最年少の８歳の子達の真剣な眼差しすらプロ意識を感じてしまいます。

サンクスギビングの後の週末、そして１２月の最初の週末の午後のひと時、
くるみ割り人形のファンタジーなバレエの世界への小旅行は如何でしょうか？

Peninsula Youth Ballet 20th Anniversary Nutcracker-- A must see!!

As Thanksgiving approaches PYB's Nutcracker open their stage!

This year marks their 20th Anniversary, and it will be extra special show!

All cast members are auditioned and started rehearsing since early September. You will also see Professional Dancers. So you won't want to miss this wonderful show!





Please come to see the magical moment of PYB 20th Anniversary Nutcracker Ballet.

Show dates are;  November 29th and 30th. ( 2pm),
December 6th ( 2pm and 7pm shows) and 7th (2pm)

Peninsula Youth Ballet's 2013 Nutcracker!

I just wanted to share this exciting show by Peninsula Youth Ballet.
My daughter is one of the dancer again for PYB's Nutcracker.

All dancers auditioned for their participation and the quality of their performance is beyond description.

If you live on Peninsula and hoping to get some holiday season performance experience, PYB's Nutcracker is the one you should attend and enjoy.

今年は新しく新装改築された「San Mateo Performing Art Centre」で全５公演が行われます。

ショーの後には「クララのティーパーティー」もあり、ホリデーシーズン先取りの楽しいひと時を楽しまれたい方にはお薦めのイベントです。
